Getting started
How do I book a free trial class?
WhatsApp us your child’s age and preferred branch, and we will suggest a level and time slot. The trial is free, with no commitment, at either Ara Damansara or Puchong Jaya.
What happens on trial day?
The coach watches your child in the water and places them at the right level on the day. Afterwards we explain which programme fits and what the fees are. Arrive 15 minutes early, bring a swimsuit, towel and goggles.
Which branch should we go to?
Ara Damansara (20m × 4.5m) serves Petaling Jaya, Kelana Jaya, Subang and Damansara. Puchong Jaya (20m × 8m) serves Puchong, Bandar Puteri, Kinrara and Bukit Jalil. Same coaches, same syllabus, same price.
Do you have parking?
Yes, at both branches. Puchong Jaya is a standalone campus at 40, Jalan Layang-Layang 4; Ara Damansara is at 20, Taman Perindustrian Jaya, Jalan PJU 1A/16.
Ages and levels
What age can my child start swimming?
From 6 months. Baby and toddler classes run from 6 to 42 months with one parent in the water. Kiddie starts at 3½, Learn to Swim at 6, and adult classes from 13 with no upper limit.
How many levels are there?
Eight: Foundation 1 and 2, Beginner Silver and Gold, Intermediate Silver and Gold, Advanced Silver and Gold — then the Pre-Competitive squad. A water survival skill is built into nearly every level.
How long does each level take?
About four months with one class a week. Your child moves up only after passing a recorded assessment, so timing follows ability rather than the calendar.
My child already swims a bit. Where do they start?
Wherever the coach places them on trial day. Beginners are never mixed with children who already swim.
What is a water survival skill?
A safety skill taught as part of the syllabus, not as a separate course: lateral rotation, paddle and breathe, water treading, elementary backstroke, sculling and more.
Classes and coaching
How many children per coach?
Baby classes have a parent in the water. Kiddie is 1:3. Learn to Swim is 1:4 at beginner, 1:5 intermediate, 1:6 advanced. Adult classes are capped at six.
How long is each class?
30 minutes for baby and kiddie, 50 minutes for Learn to Swim and adult classes. One class a week.
Are the coaches certified?
Yes. All coaches are SSI-certified and trained in-house under an SSI Teacher Instructor, and a Head Coach supervises every session. Meet the coaches.
How do I know my child is actually progressing?
Every level pass is filmed. The Head Coach runs the assessment, you get the video, and the certificate follows the next week. You watch the skill instead of taking our word for it.
Do you teach adults who are afraid of water?
Yes, and it is the most common reason adults come to us. Adult classes are adult-only, capped at six, and the coach stays in the water beside you.
The pools
Are the pools indoors?
Yes, both. Rain, haze or heat never cancels a class.
How warm is the water?
32°C at both branches. Cold water makes beginners tense up, which is the main reason lessons go badly.
Chlorine or salt water?
Salt water at both branches — noticeably gentler on young skin and eyes than harsh chlorine.
Can parents watch?
Yes. Puchong has an air-conditioned waiting area with a live CCTV feed plus an upstairs viewing deck behind tempered glass. Ara Damansara has a pool-view waiting area downstairs and a CCTV lounge upstairs.
What facilities are there after class?
Puchong has 18 bathrooms, all with hot-water showers, free shower gel, hairdryers, lockers, a baby changing station and baby bathing facilities. Ara Damansara has 7 bathrooms including a baby shower facility.
Fees and packages
How much are lessons?
Term package (4 lessons): RM234.36 weekday, RM255.96 weekend. Flexi package (8+1 lessons): RM613.44 weekday, RM689.04 weekend. All prices per student, inclusive of 8% SST, same at both branches. See Fees & Schedule.
What is the difference between Term and Flexi?
Term is 4 lessons on a fixed schedule tied to the term calendar — best value if your schedule is predictable. Flexi is 8+1 lessons valid for 11 weeks with more flexibility and an extension policy.
Are adult and baby fees different?
Adult lessons are weekday rates only. Baby lessons are Flexi package only, and weekend rates apply.
What if we miss a class?
Term has a replacement policy based on available slots. Flexi has an extension policy. Full details are in the terms and conditions.
