Hello from Teacher Chris
Hi everyone! I’m Teacher Chris, the Ara Damansara swimming coach and your friendly swimming buddy! With 2 years of coaching experience, I enjoy guiding swimmers of all ages, from young beginners and adults to pre-competitive and competitive levels. As a former state swimmer, I aim not only to teach proper technique and water confidence, but also to inspire growth in discipline, confidence, and character.
A former state-level competitive swimmer, Chris is the coach we pair with swimmers moving toward the pre-competitive and competitive levels — students who have finished learning to swim and are starting to train. His focus goes beyond technique: discipline, consistency and character.

Every coach at Skywhale teaches within the SSI-based Skywhale learning system: beginner classes capped at 1:4, video progress assessments reviewed by our Head Coach, and 32°C salt-water indoor pools at both campuses.
